As I wander along the rugged coastline of Symi island in Greece, I come across a curious sight – the bleached white skeleton bones of a goat and dry wood, scattered across the ground. And yet, amidst this stark reminder of death and decay, there are also signs of life – a vibrant array of wildflowers blooming all around.
